Hafren has been working with local Montgomeryshire Communities over the last three years to promote learning through the arts, inspiring children and young adults to achieve their potential.
The education work has become very important to the brand and reputation of Hafren. It supports our professionally presented programme, enables Hafren to work in meaningful and innovative ways in partnership with other organisations, and enhances the lives of the residents in our catchment area.
For the 2015/16 year we propose to deliver eight projects covering classical music, opera, street/urban dance, drama, literacy, visual arts/costume and science. If you would like to work with us or have an idea for a future project we would be delighted to hear from you. Please contact:

Songwriting & Ukulele Music Workshop - October 2017
A Songwriting / Music Workshop took place on Tuesday, 31st October 2017 at Hafren. The workshop was led by musicians Dai Robs and Dylan Penri with eight young carers attending. It was a huge success with the attendees being gifted with a ukulele so that we can revisit the group in a few months to find out how they have got on.
The Glass Menagerie Workshops - February 2016
All three of the workshops relate to passages in the script of The Glass Menagerie by Tenessee Williams which was performed by Theatr Pena on Thursday 25th February 2016, at Hafren.
