Movie Matinees
Throughout the year we offer Movie Matinees which are screened every last Wednesday of the month. They are usually scheduled to start at 1pm and often include a free hot drink with the ticket price where stated.Our Movie Matinee Listings
Relaxed Performances: these shows are for everyone!
The performances are held in a friendly and relaxed environment, designed to accommodate audience members with disabilities (but not limited to) autism spectrum conditions, sensory and communication disorders, learning disabilities, dementia patients, or even just young children.
Some of the characteristics of these shows are as follows:
- An introduction explaining what will happen and when.
- Extra stewarding with dementia and disability awareness to assist all our customers.
- Interval for refreshments and comfort.
- Changes to the show's lighting and sound.
- Clearer visual markers and signage around the theatre.
- A relaxed attitude to movement and audience responses during the show.
- A quiet space available before, during and after the show.
